Anime of 2007
12 titles
Anime of 2007 collects the titles from that year that AniCal currently tracks, which is 12 series at the moment. The headline entries are hard to miss. Naruto: Shippuden began here and would run for the better part of a decade, and Gurren Lagann arrived as a mecha series that starts loud and keeps escalating until it runs out of sky.
The year also produced quieter work. Clannad adapted a visual novel known for its second half rather than its first, Darker than Black paired contract killers with urban espionage, and the Garden of sinners began a film series told deliberately out of order. School Days took a school romance somewhere most viewers do not expect, and Kaze no Stigma, Shakugan no Shana and The Familiar of Zero: Knight of the Twin Moons fill out the fantasy side.
Each title on this page carries its air dates and, where a series is still releasing, a countdown to the next episode. Streaming links are shown per series where available.
