Summer 2015 Anime
15 titles
Summer 2015 brought fifteen new anime series to the schedule, a diverse season that mixed supernatural action with comedy and slice-of-life stories. Charlotte follows a high schooler discovering psychic powers while others around him harbor secrets of their own. Overlord continues the isekai trend with a dark lord trapped in a fantasy game world, while Dragon Ball Super reignited the legendary battle shounen franchise after a sixteen-year gap. The season also delivered SHIMONETA, a provocative comedy about censorship in a dystopian Japan, and Gate, which blends military action with portal fantasy as the Self-Defense Forces encounter an alternate world.
Beyond the action titles, Summer 2015 offered gentler entertainment: Snow White with the Red Hair presented a lush fantasy romance, Himouto! Umaru-chan brought comedy about a perfect girl with a secret lazy side, and Monster Musume explored domestic life with supernatural roommates. Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers- combined mystery and fantasy adventure, while God Eater adapted a video game into post-apocalyptic action.
Each series on this page displays its air dates, episode count and streaming availability so you can plan what to watch and where to find it. Summer 2015 offered something for fans of action, romance, comedy and everything in between.
