Shiawase Kanako no Koroshiya Seikatsu

Shiawase Kanako no Koroshiya Seikatsu is a comedy series premiering in spring 2027 that follows an ordinary office worker who stumbles into an unexpected career in assassination. The story centers on Kanako, a timid employee who somehow lands a job at an assassination agency and quickly discovers an aptitude for work that would terrify most people. Despite the violent premise, the series treats its premise with humor rather than seriousness, focusing on Kanako's awkward attempts to navigate both her new profession and the typical frustrations of office life.

The show debuts as a TV series on April 1, 2027, adapted from a full-color manga. Even in her new role as a contract killer, Kanako finds herself dealing with relatable workplace dynamics, including tension with Sakurai, a coworker whose cold demeanor masks something more complicated. The series balances absurdist comedy with character-driven humor, making it suited to viewers who enjoy workplace comedies with an unusual twist.

This is the anime's first release, so new viewers can jump in from the beginning when it airs this spring.
