POKÉTOON (2026)

POKÉTOON (2026) is a pair of short episodes released to celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary. The series aired on the Pokémon Official YouTube Channel during summer 2026, with episodes dropping on August 12 and August 19. As an original net animation, these bite-sized adventures blend the adventure and fantasy elements Pokémon fans expect with slice-of-life storytelling that focuses on character moments between trainers and their companions. The first episode, Kameil to, Natsu no Tsuzuki, introduces the story, while the second follows a spirited Whimsicott and Mabosstiff's efforts to manage its mischievous antics.

With only two episodes total, POKÉTOON (2026) serves as a quick commemorative project rather than a traditional series. The short-form format makes it accessible for viewers seeking Pokémon content that doesn't require a major time commitment. These episodes are now finished and available on demand through the official channel, offering a compact celebration of the franchise's three-decade legacy.
