Raised by Demons: Panda Li

Raised by Demons: Panda Li is an 18-episode adventure anime that began releasing on July 29, 2026. Available as an ONA (original net animation), it adapts Wen Zhou's novel and presents a unique take on the demon fantasy genre by centering on a human protagonist with an unconventional upbringing. The series explores themes of identity and belonging through the perspective of someone caught between two worlds.

The story sends its main character on a mission to settle old debts, but the real draw lies in how the narrative unfolds the deeper conflict between humans and demons. As the protagonist investigates his assigned targets, the series reveals interconnected mysteries spanning political intrigue, supernatural history, and personal revelation. This layered approach transforms what could be a simple revenge tale into something with considerably more narrative depth.

If you're watching this series right now, new episodes are still rolling out. The adventure format and fantasy worldbuilding make it accessible to viewers seeking something beyond straightforward action, though the adaptation of existing source material means the story direction is already established rather than unfolding in real time.
