Hotaru no Yomeiri: Choitashi

Hotaru no Yomeiri: Choitashi is a comedy romance ONA (original net animation) that launched in October 2026. As a mini anime series distributed on YouTube, it offers bite-sized episodes that complement the main Hotaru no Yomeiri franchise. The format makes it accessible to anyone with internet access, requiring no subscription to dedicated streaming platforms.

This spinoff series is currently releasing during the fall 2026 season. The comedy-romance blend suggests lighthearted humor paired with romantic storylines, making it appealing to viewers who enjoy character-driven comedy with romantic undertones. Since it debuted on October 12, 2026, new episodes are rolling out according to the series' release schedule.

If you're already familiar with the Hotaru no Yomeiri universe, this shorter format provides additional content without the commitment of a full-length anime series. For newcomers, the mini anime structure means episodes are quick to watch, making it an easy entry point into the franchise's comedy and romance elements.
