FX Fighter Kurumi-chan

FX Fighter Kurumi-chan is a twelve-episode drama series following university student Kurumi Fukuga as she enters the high-stakes world of foreign exchange trading. Motivated by a deeply personal goal—recovering the twenty million yen her late mother lost—Kurumi discovers that the markets can shift from triumph to disaster in moments. The series balances the psychological intensity of financial trading with slice-of-life moments as Kurumi navigates this volatile landscape alongside three fellow FX enthusiasts: Mochiko, Mebuki and Yasuko.

The show airs during the fall 2026 season, beginning October first. Episode three airs on October fifteenth, establishing a consistent weekly release schedule. This series appeals to viewers seeking stories that blend personal drama with real-world stakes, exploring themes of ambition, loss and the emotional toll of chasing financial goals. The premise treats trading not as a get-rich-quick fantasy but as a genuine test of resilience and decision-making under pressure.

If you're curious about how anime tackles unconventional subject matter like financial markets through character-driven storytelling, or if you appreciate narratives where ordinary people face genuine consequences for their choices, FX Fighter Kurumi-chan offers both entertainment and insight into a world most anime doesn't explore.
