Doraemon (2005) is the long-running television series produced with a new cast and staff, updating the character designs while keeping the format that made the franchise a fixture. Doraemon is a robotic cat sent back from the future to look after Nobita, a boy who fails at almost everything, and most episodes turn on a gadget pulled from his pocket and the predictable disaster that follows from misusing it.
