20001 An Earth Odyssey

20001 An Earth Odyssey is a sci-fi comedy film that inverts the typical alien-arrival narrative by sending extraterrestrial explorers to our own planet. The story follows Captain Kepo, the curious agent Alcia, and their junior colleague Rigel as they land on Earth to investigate the ruins of what they believe to be an ancient, vanished civilization. The film plays with perspective and absurdism, treating our world and its relics as a genuine archaeological mystery worthy of serious study by outside observers.

This is a completed feature film that premiered on July 19, 2026. The premise works equally well as action-driven adventure and comedic commentary, blending both registers to explore what an alien perspective might reveal about human history and culture. The crew's genuine confusion and attempts to make sense of Earth's mysteries form the core of the film's humor, which relies on the contrast between their scientific mindset and the bizarre reality they encounter.
